Glances,
For all our glances which shine at night, in this arrival of Christmas.
For all our glances,
Glance which cries silently without understanding what is happening,
Malicious glance of the engraved years
Loving glance which dashes into the crowd
Soft glance of the watered innocence
Violent glance of the hatred in the shape of a drop of blood
Joyful glance of the shared peace
Amused glance by the plays on words
Smiling glance in your rising wrinkles
Motionless glance of the incomprehension
Sad glance of the hurt soul
Moving glance moving of fascinated lovers
Frank look of the new born child
Christmas is the joyful time of a celebrated birth. If we could in one night take away the veils of sadness which the life puts without a noise sometimes, violently at other times. If we could in one night find the innoncence of the beginning and restart in the life confidently. If we could in one night imagine in the rising dawn, live the sharing, the friendship and the peace found again on our blue planet so beautiful.
During these holidays I shall drink to the peace in the world. I shall also drink to the peace in my world, the one that my arms embrace, And I shall imagine a tomorrow when the peace will return. A tomorrow when the doors of my calmed heart will pass towards the banks of the not painful recollection and of the forgiveness.
Here is my evening prayer, as a birth is announced all over the world.

A tous nos regards qui brillent dans la nuit, à cette arrivée de Noël.
A tous nos regards,
Regard qui pleure en silence sans comprendre ce qui arrive
Regard malicieux des années gravées
Regard amoureux qui s’élance dans la foule
Regard tendre de l’innocence abreuvée
Regard violent de la haine en goutte de sang
Regard joyeux de la paix partagée
Regard amusé des jeux de mots
Regard souriant dans tes rides naissantes
Regard figé de l’incompréhension
Regard triste de l’âme blessée
Regard émouvant des amants passionnés
Regard pur de l’enfant qui vient de naître
Noël est le temps joyeux d’une naissance fêtée. Si nous pouvions en une nuit ôter les voiles de tristesse que la vie pose sans un bruit parfois, violemment en d’autres moments. Si nous pouvions en une nuit retrouver l’innoncence du début et repartir dans la vie en toute confiance. Si nous pouvions en une nuit imaginer dans une aube naissante, vivre le partage, l’amitié et la paix retrouvée sur notre planète bleue si jolie.
Pendant ces fêtes je trinquerai à la paix dans le monde.
Je trinquerai aussi à la paix dans mon monde,
Celui que mes bras enlacent,
Et j’imaginerai un demain où la paix reviendra
Un demain où les portes de mon coeur apaisé
Pourront passer vers les rives du souvenir non douloureux et du pardon.
Voila ma prière d’un soir, alors qu’une naissance s’annonce partout dans le monde.
